Vähän aikaa sitten jossain jenkkikaupassa (en muista tarkkaa ajankohtaa taikka kauppaa) maksoi vajaa 400€. Siihen kun lisätään tullit ym. niin aika sama hinta tulee Rc-navetan kanssa. Eli ei välttämättä kannata ainakaan jenkeistä tilata kun täältä saa samaan hintaan.

Nyrkkisääntönä mielestäni toimii hyvin hinta taaloina=tullin jälkeen hintä euroina.

X3 Sabre-E wins Byron's Fuel Champ's - 10/22/12

Reported by DJ Sandate - Myself and some of the team went to Revelation Raceway to run the Byron's contingency race for big dollars, but that wasn't the case for as I run Sidewinder Fuels so I was into taking some hardware home and denying some checks but no as I turn my X3 nitro into a broken mess. But that didn't happen to my Sabre electric buggy as I managed a TQ and the win for the class, my Sabre was high on power and the track was loose so I had to rely on keeping the right amount of power down from loosing traction, from 1st to 2nd round was a tire change and was better in the 2nd round as it was smooth around the corners to the jumps and able to keep the TQ, the race was a little difficult as I had put on a harder set of tires on the front(an opps mistake) than my rears and now I had too much rear traction and was fighting to catch the leader as I had came up short on a jump and lost the lead at the start. But after 7 minutes of racing my Mamba Monster power with Savox servos X3 finished the race with the win. Revelation hosted a nice race for Byrons as the weather was on the cool side for most of the day and great racing for big paychecks.

DJ takes a podium spot at Kyosho Fall Classic with Sabre-E - 11/5/12

Reported by DJ Sandate - Revelation Raceway was hosting the Kyosho Fall Classic once again and there was a very good turnout for competitors in nitro and electric buggy. Myself I ran both electric and nitro classes with my X3 Sabres, the track was all about speed as a sweeper and a long straight were connected together giving you a long stretch and the new Revelation mega jump "The Cayon", Oh and those deep landmines/moguls which ended up being a nice track with some good racing. My first run would be electric and my X3 was pretty good it just had a little oversteer but was manageable, I finish the 1st qual in 2nd behind an AE driver which I was good with. In the 2nd qual the World Champ got it right and was just plain fast as he took top spot and I ended up in the 4th for the race. The race would be 10minutes so I dropped in some 6500 mah batteries for a fast and long run.
The start was ok as I went into the first corner and Mr. Blue Cody Turner made a mistake and got caught up in the mess I went wide to avoid it but rubbed with some guys overshooting the corner but got clear to third position and while those guys got tied up that put me clear as 1st and 2nd were gone, just keep it clean and you should be good I said but I had one major mistake that brought back the pack and I was now racing to keep my 3rd, Turner was on the charge as I was still fighting the over-steer and he got past me with a few minutes to go but the I dunked it again allowing my team-mate Miguel to pass me now it was all game as Miguel and I would drag out the rest of the race battling for 4th, so with about a minute to go Miguel put his best version of taking it too hot in the corner and getting tied up with a back-marker for me to get away keeping that 4th spot but then on the very last lap the AE driver suffered a problem right before the Cayon jump and was out of the race handing over 3rd to me. I was glad to have my X3 ready to take on the long run and finish the race because it brought a trophy back home and a cool picture with the Champ and Mr. Blue.

X3 Sabre-E wins at Lake Havasu 1/12/13

Reported by DJ Sandate - My daughter and I needed to get out somewhere with scenic views & calm waters so what better place to go than to the state-line of Lake Havasu where they have Havasu Rc Raceway, it's just south of the London Bridge so why not do some racing & enjoy the fresh cold air. It is such a nice place to run & for spectators to watch some action as you hear the sounds of boats & birds going South, the track was just recently redone & is made to accommodate multiple classes for racing from 1/10 buggy to 1/8th. The front jumps can go from a double-double for the SC's & 1/10th buggies to a launching quad section for the 1/8th rollers. Like always I bring both of my Sabres to run & both were good, I just needed to feel the track out to get better lap after lap. Both Sabres felt a little different in handling but with tires changes and couple of spring changes to the Nitro they almost had the same feel. My Sabre-E did the first runs for qualifying & did ok I just needed to settle down as for some reason my electric felt more like an on/off switch to throttle so I manged to start 3rd for the main & of course collecting pipes didn't help either in pushing for a better spot in the main. The main however would be a slow start as my buggy in warm-up was still feeling off/on for throttle so when the race started my car just cogged so bad at the tone they everyone just flew past me & finally rolled away so I had some time to makeup. The leader had a sizable lead so I thought the most I can get up to would be 2nd but glad for me that drivers all around me were amped up & were just making mistakes & giving me reason to get past them & fall into 2nd. 2 minutes were left & I thought the same thing I'll finish 2nd with the leader with a half lap lead, but all of a sudden he dumped his buggy in a bad place & it took a lot of time for him & me to catch up to race him. Another mistake by the leader as I raced close to him & I was by for the lead, he tried to make it back to me but the quad got him as he came up short & I kept the lead and the win. The Nitro Sabre was feeling good for the Main but in warm-up the quad I think got me as I flat landed hard & in the next turn the engine just made a horrible noise & stopped so no racing the main for me as the crankshaft broke in my Jammin engine, I was feeling good about the race & WHAM!! done for the day. But in all it was a spectacular weekend with friends & family. Thank you Tom & Brian for letting us shack with guys at your cool pad & seeing my cousins I haven't seen in ages. I know that we will be heading out there more often to enjoy some more racing.

Kyllä tuo onroad vehkeeseen vois mennä vielä ihan kivasti, ite en uskaltaisi laittaa M8 vehkeeseen tuota noparia, painoa kuitenkin löytyy melko reilusti autolla ja kisoissa voi olla aika kovan rasituksen alaisena. Kuitenkin 1:10 vehkeeseen mitoitettu. Cut-off tempit varmaan aika lähellä varsinkin kesä helteillä..

In 1/8 Off road Brushless scale, the rumble for the victory was epic. The young and promissing driver Thomas MUSSO finished 2nd of the championship just behind the top driver J. SARTEL, with 1 win and 3 podiums.

Tuommoinen kilikali räpellys tällä kertaa. Jäi kyllä vähän turhan tummaksi, valkoista olisi pitänyt myös laittaa mutta tällä mennään.

Tuommoisen teeitse systeemin tein viime vuonna ja vasta nyt älysin tänne laittaa. Tarkoituksena saada jäähdyttävää ilmavirtaa suulaketta pitkin suoraan moottorin kylkeen. Tein tuon tavallisesta lexanin palasta jota taivuttelin haluttuun muotoon (ei tarvitse lämmittää tmv.), liimasin yhteen ja ruuveilla laitoin koriin kiinni. Ehkä tuo suulake olisi pitänyt tehdä kapenemaan moottoriin päin ilmavirtauksen voimistamiseksi mutta katsotaan jos tänä kesänä tekisi toisenlaisen version.
Ei ehkä kummoinen jäähdytyskeino (tosin ihmettelen suuresti jos kukaan ei ole tuommoista vielä väkertänyt), mutta ei mene kauan aikaa eikä rahaa jos joku haluaa koriinsa tehdä reiän :laugh: Jos ei ole hyötyä niin tuskin on haittaakaan.
