So HPI's video showing the complete flips back onto the wheels is really fake advertising as it wont last like that, rear diff will broke just few minutes. Full power and the slipper tightened right up.
Now after about 20min run I went over a knee high jump and the rear diff pinion lost some teeth
The Savage Flux seems to have piss weak rear diff pinion, second time it has happened after very mild driving.
The Savage Flux has a design fault.
The rear bevel gear fails very easily after a small jump or full acceleration.
Must put the drive train under load and the bevel teeth can't handle it.
Shame they didn't design the truck with a centre diff.
Oh well I think mine will be returned tomorrow after my LHS calls the supplier for chat.
I bought this truck to run 6S not 4S so it's a refund for me.
Well doesn't matter now I am taking my Flux back for a refund or credit.
Had enough.
MY LHS spoke to the HPI supplier and they "didn't believe me" I could have another diff problem.
It's a well known fact Savage Diffs are weak and fail.
So no more for me.
