Gentlemen,

A miscommunication/miss interpretation by myself created a lot of confusion regarding the legal bodies for the Worlds 1/10 and 1/12 coming summer in the Netherlands.

It concerns the fact that the bodies that were approved the previous years are not all re-entered on the published 2012 list.
I wrongly assumed that this was not necessary, for a long time now the published lists are add-ons to the previous list, as it is the case for batteries and motors.

The bodies previously approved however must comply to the global specs thus is not valid for the very old lists (i.e 2008/ and earlier)

I trust this to clarify this issue and that you can spread this to whom is concerned

Tänään, ensimmäisenä varsinaisena kisapäivänä aikataulut pettivät pahemman kerran, kun renkaiden lämmitysruljanssiin ei kisaorganisaatio löytänyt toimivaa mallia. Renkaitahan ei saa viedä varikolle, kun pidottaminen ja muu käsittely on kielletty. Renkaiden Lämmitys tuli sallituksi warmuppien jälkeen ja nyt lämmitys hoidetaan katsastusteltassa varikoiden ulkopuolella.

Se mielenkiintoinen asia, jonka tännekin halusin tuoda esille oli kisan team manager kokouksen aloitteesta kv. Juryn hyväksymä malli, jota sovelletaan huomisaamusta eteenpäin. Katsastaminen tapahtuu turistikisassa ennen erää. Kaikilta mitataan akun jännite ja auton paino ja muita kohteita katsastetaan satunnaisesti (täällä kiireen vuoksi näin).
Erän jälkeen ei katsasteta mitään ja ainoa toimenpide on renkaiden palauttaminen rengassäilöön. Kaikki eränaikaisten tapahtumien vuoksi tulleet hylkäykset jäävät pois.
