 Mikä ihmeen "Smarteca"??? onko kenelläkään tämmöstä tai kokemuksia yleensä smartecasta? ku on vaan aikas halpa! prohobbystä siis tommosen saa. Saako enää varaosia ku on "loppuunmyynti"?

Äkkiä googlettamalla löytyi että olis Traxxas T-Maxx klooni tai jopa = t-maxx, osat menee varmaankin ristiin...

Tommonen löyty: Nope its the same size as the Maxx. I just got it yesterday.

Heres the good, bad and ugly of this truck by me, mind you I haven't run the truck yet:D

The Good:

Quality seems just as good as a Maxx
Full bearings
cool looking body, with clear windows
nice plush suspension
decent engine
nicer tires then the Maxx
Tires come with foam inserts, and tires are pre glued
nicer transmitter then the Maxx
Pull start engine
comes with rechargable glow igniter, Alkline batteries for the transmitter and reciever
All Maxx hoppups and replacement parts are supposed to be compatible
comes with assembly manual
2MM thick 6061 T6 brushed aluminum unanodized chassis
150cc fuel tank
lenght 19.125" or 486MM
front track 14.8" or 375MM
rear track 14.8" or 375MM
wheel base 11.812" or 300MM
4 wheel drive
2 Speed tranny but NO reverse
.15 engine
differentials have hardened steel bevel gears







The Bad:

Decals on body could have been applied better
Assembly manual looks like a photo copy
Body could have been painted better
tranmitter feels hollow, not very solid feeling, but better then the traxxas transmitter interms of comfort
Engine has cheesy exhaust header.
plastic nylon skid plates are kind of chinsey



The Ugly:

No instructions for breaking in the engine, or even tuning the engine
Decals on body could have been applied better or even left on the decal sheet to let the owner apply them

Other then that I really can't find anything wrong with this truck.
The fact that it has no engine break in and tuning instructions really hurts this truck. But considering the price and the fact that T maxx parts are supposed to be compitable with it I think it is a good deal!
I have no opinions on its performance since I haven't run mine yet.:eek:

Tuolla on kans juttuu et olis yhtä kuin t-maxx, ja kuvasta päätellen renkaat on ainakin ihan samanlaiset...

I just saw this poor copy of a T-Maxx in Chicago at the hobbyshow Sunday. To call it junk would be an understatement. The plastic was cheep, the molding was even worse and the engine might make a nice paperweight it didn't fall apart taking it off the truck. Even the chassis was of such poor quality I could bend it easily as examined the truck.

I'd give this truck 10 minutes to be reduced to a pile of broken parts by anyone that was foolish enough to try and use it. I saw a number of hobby dealers pick up the truck, laugh and say not in my store in the few minutes I was looking at the truck.

I don't like being so negative but I don't want to see anyone toss hard-earned cash in the trash by purchasing this truck.
